Jakarta (ANTARA News) – The 2015 Mega Bazaar gadget and information technology exhibition will be held again on 4-8 March 2015 at the Jakarta Convention Center offering hundreds of products from 78 company brands.
“More than 200 of the newest brands from 78 companies will appear to meet people’s needs for gadget products. The prices range from affordable to premium,” said Ichwan Sofwan General Manager of Dyandra Panggangndo, at the Jakarta Convention Center, Wednesday.
The Mega Bazaar initiated by Dyandra Propertindo presents the latest products with the theme of technological developments that support entertainment, and will also be held in Yogjakarta (Jogja Expo Center) and Makassar (Celebes Convention Center).
“This year Mega Bazaar has the theme ‘Technology and Entertainment’ to illustrate the role of information and communication technology which has developed rapidly and is important for everyday life for communication, business and entertainment,” said Ichwan Sofwan.
Ichwan explained that Mega Bazzar is one of the biggest acts that was started in 1994 under the name Mega Bazaar Computer and continued consistently until last year under the name Mega Bazaar Consumer Show.
This year’s Mega Bazaar presents a variety of entertainment including morning sales, monster power bank sales, monster bid gadgets, monster couple sales, door prizes and grand prizes.
“Last year we were visited by 220 thousand people, so this year we offer something new and fun to satisfy the increasing number of visitors,” said Ichwan.
To enjoy this gadget bazaar, visitors are required to buy a ticket for IDR 15 thousand with free wi-fi, official taxi, business center and canteen facilities.
Ichwan hopes that Mega Bazaar will spark enthusiasm for the information technology industry in Indonesia by offering exhibitions that match the enthusiasm of visitors.
Apart from that, on the final day of the event a winner will be drawn who will receive a Daihatsu Ayla prize with the condition of spending IDR 500 thousand.
