Amel Carla denies that “kids now” are just busy playing with gadgets
Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Child actress Amel Carla denies that children born in the millennium era are only busy playing with gadgets.
It was proven that the children involved in the Young and Alive mini concert wanted to contribute to seeking donations for children with cancer.
“These young children can already organize big events to collect donations. So, if people say that today’s children are only busy playing with gadgets, that’s not true,” said Amel in Jakarta, Thursday.
Amel, who was appointed as an icon at the event, said that the children aged 6-13 were not only talented, but also had good hearts, because the concert was a social mission.
The concert itself will be held on Sunday, December 19 2015 at Pavilion 28 Jalan Petogogan, South Jakarta.
Various events in the form of exhibitions of children’s paintings, choirs, solo piano playing and band playing will be displayed at the mini concert.
The donations collected will be handed over to the Anyo Indonesia Foundation (YAI), which provides attention to children with cancer from underprivileged groups.
